These terms govern your use of Recco. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Recco.

What Recco Is

Recco is a social recommendation service where people post products and services they actually use, follow friends, save recommendations, and discover products through social and shopping signals.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the activity on your account. You must provide accurate login and profile information and may not impersonate another person.

User Content

You own the content you post. You give Recco a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, copy, process, analyze, promote, and share that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

Acceptable Use

Do not post unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing, infringing, unsafe, explicit, spammy, or intentionally misleading content. Do not scrape, attack, reverse engineer, or abuse Recco or other users.

Recommendations And Shopping

Recco content is personal opinion, not professional advice. Product links, prices, deals, availability, and retailer details may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Confirm details on the retailer site before buying.

Affiliate Links And Monetization

Recco may earn commissions, referral fees, advertising revenue, subscription fees, or other compensation from links, retailers, brands, promoted placements, or premium features. We aim to keep friend recommendations useful and trustworthy.

Connected Accounts

If you connect email, contacts, or social accounts, you authorize Recco to access and process that data for the feature you enabled. You can disconnect optional integrations from the app when available.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from profile settings. We may retain limited records where required for security, backups, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or product catalog integrity.

Service Changes

Recco is evolving quickly. We may add, change, pause, or remove features, integrations, feeds, rankings, offers, or access to the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk, infringe rights, abuse integrations, or harm Recco, users, retailers, or partners.

Recco is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
